"In fact, your life has nothing to do with you. That is, it has nothing to do with the individuated you; with the Little You. It has everything to do with Big You."
Somebody asked Neale to elaborate on this.
Neale said:
The statement above ("Your life has nothing to do with you.") has been the most healing statement of my life. As I understand it, it means that the life I am living has nothing to do with what I call "Little Me." That is, the part of me that presents itself as Neale Donald Walsch in this world. What Life does have to do with is what I call "Big Me." That is, the Whole of Me...or, in human terms, everything else I see and hear and feel and touch.

Parenting or should we say mothering teenagers has been a challenge through ages. We prefer to use mothering, as generally dads are busy with making moolah while the moms, even though working, deal directly with their teenage children.
Now talking about challenges, it’s a bigger challenge in a country like India with its ever evolving culture and society. As we open to global (read western) ways of life, our teenagers are becoming more independent and liberal. Though there’s also a culture of more teenagers picking up vocational jobs, but that’s just vocational, limited to a couple of months.

Rakshanda, 30, a marketing executive and a MoneyQuin follower is not quite her jovial self these days. She comes online every other day to complain of how she’s not in control of her money anymore. Her husband has decided to invest her income without even seeking her approval at times. This has led to incidents when she had badly wanted to buy something and has not had enough cash.

On the way back on a walk to get the paper early a few mornings ago the thought came up-what do many value acting in our society, culture. I had never given it much thought or felt that it was unusual to think this YET it has effect on every one of us. It had been years since I had stepped into a movie theater; this year I went to three movies. Many don’t care about movie stars or the movies they act in or produce but may watch them as a DVD and some don’t own a TV set- some are defenseless in our because they and others believe that actors act not people. Is this naïve or a refusal to be a part of what they don’t agree with or understand?
These people who ACT and do it convincingly with breaks make big dollars and are respected...
