As I dozed over on the end of the bed at 7pm the other evening I started dreaming 'I went to step up on the kerb (pavement) and I missed and landed in a puddle of water and my foot got wet', I automatically jumped awake at that stage and thought, what was that all about and if you know me, you'll know that I had to decipher what it meant... And when I thought back that was the way my day had went in so many ways!!! Once thing after another just seemed to spiral outta proportion!  Even my head seemed cloudy and my mind was racing in so many directions that I couldn’t still it for more than 5 minutes at a time until I lay down and I woke with that start! For days I thought about that brief dream I had and now I can smile cause to me ...

Lord, protect our doubts, because Doubt is a way of praying. It is Doubt that makes us grow because it forces us to look fearlessly at the many answers that exist to one question. And in order for this to be possible… Lord, protect our decisions, because making Decisions is a way of praying. Give us the courage, after our doubts, to be able to choose between one road and another. May our YES always be a YES, and NO always be a NO. Once we have chosen our road, may we never look back nor allow our soul to be eaten away by remorse. And in order for this to be possible… Lord, protect our actions, because Action is way of praying. May our daily bread be the result of the very best that we carry within us. May we, through work and Action,...

What are your biggest challenges? At least once or twice a year I put myself on a fasting detox as part of my health and fitness programme. It always provides me with many challenges but it has to be done. Yesterday I returned from one of the most fantastic weddings that I have ever been to. I met many good friends that I haven't seen for a while and many new friends. I went away a few days earlier and had a few days in Barcelona before driving over to France for the wedding with my dad and two friends, Mike and David. During this period I have had plenty of food and drink that would not be deemed entirely healthy from a purist perspective. However, I have laughed more in the past week than I have in a good while - and I laugh a lo...

Warm and fuzzy, interesting I am trying to remember what warm and fuzzy is.  That tells me that it has been a while.  The first thought that came to mind are kittens.  They are warm and fuzzy full of energy until they are not in which they roll up into a small ball and go fast asleep.  Puppies are a delight as they are warm and fuzzy throughout life; they know the value of play.  Had the pleasure of both growing up and through my adult life. As I look around this morning I find that I have lots of people and things to be thankful for.  People and relationships are by far the most rewarding as they are not a thing or owned yet exchanged or given through osmoses. Cool word that I don’t use much: Osmose, Encarta describes this as “to caus...

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

I JUST READ A BIG BANNER ON TV AND A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE CHEERING as they wave at the banner  Slogan The pursuit of happiness Is a completely misleading belief Your ego is what keeps pushing you and it does not believe in happiness or love So it is always doing what it is meant to do keeping you unhappy in any way it can. The ego is the lost innocent frightened child in each of us who is terrified of change to one degree or another The ego is the Pretender who runs your life. And I mean it makes you run. Or it sits down and says whatever. Until you catch it at work. The ego is what places the carrot just always out of reach That is what the pursuit of happiness is. INSTEAD OF BEING HAPPY EVERY...
