TRUTH OR SIMULATED ILLUSION Humility and the part it plays in your life Humility and gratitude are both sides of the same coin It is a coin that you inherit as you go higher in conscious states. Humility is what lets you Hear and Gratitude is another coin that has on the other side Happiness. Gratitude for what you might ask. Gratitude for the life within you that grows and evolves you to higher and higher states of profound peace and joyful love without boundaries. States where we see that the idea of a separated world is all in our head and has never has been a reality outside of our head. We helped create that world because the real reason we ever inhabited that physiological dimension of separation is so that you cou...

Dealing with the Devil... It’s all about time and space right and wrong-Wrong mainly.   It’s about polarization the Devil, Lucifer, Beelzebub ; doing a web search came up with a lot of names including one guy mentioned that the names of his ex’s. What I am observing through study of what is available it that the all of the all is just that not good or bad but all of it for a balance.  What we call positive and good is not bad or wrong it is a reference point.  In nature a rabbit running full tilt away from a coyote sees getting away is seen as good while the coyote sees it as bad, IF they had the perspective of most humans.  I am observing that they don’t think in terms like humans perceiving good and evil and having assigned kin...

On the way back on a walk to get the paper early a few mornings ago the thought came up-what do many value acting in our society, culture.  I had never given it much thought or felt that it was unusual to think this YET it has effect on every one of us.  It had been years since I had stepped into a movie theater; this year I went to three movies.  Many don’t care about movie stars or the movies they act in or produce but may watch them as a DVD and some don’t own a TV set- some  are defenseless in our because they and others believe that actors act not people.  Is this naïve or a refusal to be a part of what they don’t agree with or understand?   These people who ACT and do it convincingly with breaks make big dollars and are respected...

The easel was set-up. With a colourful palette, a ready brush, a myriad ideas and a plethora of strokes in his repertoire, the artist was ready. Movements so elegant, so graceful, so profound and ever so sublime would have the audience spell-bound and rapt at attention. There was a surreal touch to his work. Oh the finesse of it all! His actions were exquisite and par excellence. More often than not, the way he would go about his job would be lucid and ethereal… For, his competitors would be left far behind gaping, seemingly tactless and wondering what had just hit them. Such was his dominance when he and his challengers took stage. All but one. It is known that Mother Nature has her own unique way to deal with dominance. And so, it se...

Every year for the past few years I meet up with some friends, some that I grew up with and have known all of my life, and play in a veterans 6-a-side football tournament. It is a family day out and a bit of fun for our team. Rarely have we ever threatened to win the tournament but we usually hold our own. This Saturday, in searing heat we entered feeling that we could do quite well. We lost a close run first game, 3-2, to the eventual winners of the tournament. During this game I covered plenty of ground, made plenty of challenges and even scored a penalty. The past 3 competitive penalties that I had taken were missed. That was over 10 years ago. When I stepped forward and put the ball in the net I exorcised a few skeletons and felt goo...

Most things are not black and white or even shades of gray they are multi-color multi-faceted and have texture.  The old sayings that might is right and it may be a last resort-violence BUT WHY?  Judgment for those in control  who have the power make sure everyone who is under their control understand fully that they are in charge and right.  Linda McPharlin and I were discussing on her journal INsight is 20/20 and a spark of thought came through we have an important choice to continue to support violence or to support peace.  Looking behind ourselves on this planet it has been a dangerous place because of people who crave power and control and the exercise of that power and control.  What we can change is who we are and that change will...

What do you do to feel energised and truly alive? Running your own business can lead to excessive time spent on the phone and computer. This is what I have found recently. Then I noticed that my energy was slowly draining. It was time for me to take positive action. During the past week I have dropped out of the world of technology. I have kept my phone calls and internet activity to less than 1 hour a day. This period coincides with me doing more walking, having more fun and spending quality time with quality people. I have simultaneously been outside with a video camera filming new footage for my Walk Innovation website. Because of the longer daylight hours I have been out walking late in the evening in my local Verulamium park, in St ...

Every now and then a day comes along that is so beautiful that it restores all faith in life. Have you ever had a day like that? A day that is so wonderfully serendipitous that it feels almost magical. I have just had one such day. After a few months where I had decided to struggle with my business I finally realised that something had to change. The best thing to change upon discovering this realisation is me. I could either make excuses or learn from and change the way I think. In order to change what you think, the first step is the awareness that it needs to happen. My awareness changed when I realised that I had been giving more than I was receiving. The decision not to receive was unconscious, based on programming that I had t...

Having dinner last night with some friends, we found ourselves talking about some issues one of my friends is having with 'office politics.' It seems that one of his colleagues has complained to the manager that he does more work than my friend does. They are all part of the Human Resources "Team," and although they are called a team and are supposed to be united and working together, it really is more of a competition between them. They find themselves vying for attention from their manager, competing and complaining against one another to stand out from the crowd, and even undermining each other's efforts. When we think of a team, we think of a body of individuals working together as one unit. We can read many quotes about the value...

Are you doing what you love? Think about what you did naturally as a child and you will often find the answers to what you life purpose is. From a very young age, I have always been upside down, climbing trees, doing handstands, cartwheels and contorting myself into different positions.  I remember starting off doing gymnastics when I got into the infants and really enjoyed that.  Then at the age of twelve, I got into yoga.  This was very unusual back in the early eighties as yoga was seen a weird thing for aging hippies.  I just remember being given a yoga book from my Aunty that she picked up form a jumble sale and thought it might interested me. The lady in the book had a number of brown and green all in one leotards, whic...
