I ask, suggest, and say please take a look outside of your comfort zone where your mind gets nervous; that you are questioning its authority and knowledge.  This is where it gets interesting... These are questions that I have asked over and over through the years and am getting bits and pieces of information and have found that the mind/body and people provide diversion in order to hide those answers or realized truth.  There are several popular diversion mediums that are very acceptable on the planet.... Both reading and movies or Television are diversion tactics that the mind has devised to diver Yes divert our attention.  You may ask how.  The diversion is the old shell game of the pea under the walnut shell or  the folded cards (...

Living and dying: Which do you prefer? Recently, I watched Inception. What a great film. It made me think about death and life. This was poignant as in the past month I have lost 2 friends and my cat, whom I was very close to. Death of others makes me question my own life. As a nurse it was part of a standard nursing assessment form to address living and dying with our patients. With little information on how to go about it, we were just supposed to address this aspect of a person’s health. The truth is that I never used to discuss it. I assumed that because someone was breathing that they must be living. How wrong could I have been? Part of my role as a nurse was to assess my patient’s potential for independence upon leaving...

Here in the US we drive on the right hand side of a two lane road and the steering wheel is on the left side of the car.  We have what we call freeways that are not free because we pay taxes to build them but they are not toll ways except when they are attached and you have no choice but to pay the toll.  The rules of the road are that the far left lane in a multi lane pathway going the same direction is the emergency and passing lane most places here.  Most often many use this lane as an unofficial fast lane and go over the speed limit both civilians and emergency agencies and law enforcement.  The only people I see getting speeding tickets are civilians. On the way home listening to the radio there were two view points about those wh...

Do you like to go it alone, or could you use a little help occasionally? Everyone needs a little help every now and again. I am certainly no exception to this. When I set out to create some new Mp3 downloadable products and write my book on the first 15 steps of the Walk Innovation process I needed help to find out if they hit the spot. I wrote to my database and asked for some volunteers to help me with product testing and proof reading. I have to say that I have been bowled over by the response. A number of people volunteered to give me feedback and it has been phenomenal. So many changes have been made in alignment with the feedback that I have received and I have a really good feeling about the book based on initial comme...

In January of 2007 I came up with this and the only change I have made is a web link for one of the bullets. Hope you ejoy! Dave All the Things I Need to Know, I learned after Kindergarten Some people slept through Kindergarten. True peace comes from within ourselves Some people share, some refuse, some still have not made up their minds. Take the high road because it is less traveled and it will eventually go down hill. Have fun We are not alone, but it feels like it some times. We don’t know it all! Things happen that defy explanation. People are funny; similar circumstances provide different results, some people are happy, while others are not. Give-acts of kindness! Accept acts of kindness! Energy flows in and out...

Dealing with the Devil... It’s all about time and space right and wrong-Wrong mainly.   It’s about polarization the Devil, Lucifer, Beelzebub ; doing a web search came up with a lot of names including one guy mentioned that the names of his ex’s. What I am observing through study of what is available it that the all of the all is just that not good or bad but all of it for a balance.  What we call positive and good is not bad or wrong it is a reference point.  In nature a rabbit running full tilt away from a coyote sees getting away is seen as good while the coyote sees it as bad, IF they had the perspective of most humans.  I am observing that they don’t think in terms like humans perceiving good and evil and having assigned kin...

ALIVE After being very private for many years I want to share with others how in my early forties I was given an unbelievable Second chance at life I love sharing my story it is a long story but to shorten it for now this is a bit of mystory I had a Spiritual experience that blew my mind, literary I did not understand I did not connect my wish to die with the incredible happening that occured And totally turned my world inside out Shortly after I seemed to watch as my home life with husband and children were no more my family I was alone again and had no visible direction Nothing seemed to work as it did before I was in culture shock to put it mildly My Consciousness had gone back to the Creator and been Spiritual...

A client recently leaned over and almost whispered to me what she was concerned would be a shocking admission.  She doesn't get nearly the "juice" from spending time with her family as she does from working! I wasn't surprised in the least and told her so.  But, she cried--what about all this balancing life and work stuff?  Doesn't that mean that I'm out of balance? I realized later that this is the dilemma of highly productive, very involved women.  You rarely hear a man talk about this.  It is a given, especially for those over 45 or so, that men work.  They focus on work.  They are rewarded and praised for working. Women may be more likely to be criticized for the same thing.  "What about your other responsibilities?" they are a...

Religion- a "mixture of opposites", it has become. Religion has always been an age-old problem; right from early civilizations to the pre-Renaissance and Dark Age era, through to this very day. It is high time we become rationalised in our thoughts and look to religion for enlightenment. I welcome any sane discussion... God- the omnipresent One. "God"- what does this word bring to your mind? A mélange, shall we say- compassion and love to fear and power, to force, magic and sacrifice? What relevance does "God" have in the world of today. A world where corruption and materialism vie for the lions share. From a time of "My God is more powerful than your God!", to "There is no God; it is all Science."; we were and still are - skeptics. Ea...

Peace With In At                 Peace With All Simply:   At Peace With in At Peace With All I had been rolling this thought around my mind for several days and last night or early this morning the thought came up very clearly that it’s right that if I am with peace with myself that I am at peace with all things. Granted that does not mean that all people are at peace with themselves or companies or countries/nations and that they may be angry with themselves and others IT SIMPLY means that a being that is at peace with in is at peace with all. Today was really different, I was off and out of sync and I was angry and not sure exactly what I was angry with or who.  Yes there are some things that perhaps I to judge I have a rig...
