Something strange happened to me this week.
I was traveling back from London and I picked up a copy of the Evening Standard. I turned to the back page and began reading the sports section - my normal routine when I read newspapers. Usually, I stop reading when I incur the first non-sports story. I do this because media tends to focus on problems and since I tend to get what I focus on I tend not to read, watch or listen to news.
On Wednesday, for some strange reason, I felt compelled to read beyond the sports pages. After flicking few a few pages of travel and television news I reached pages 24 and 25, where I was in for a shock.
