My friend Maddie might be the youngest Life Entrepreneur I have written about.  She's 3 1/2 years old, and quite busily carving out the life she wants to live.  Almost every Sunday she goes swimming with my friend Lida, her grandmother, who is very committed to making sure she swims well enough to stay safe in the pool. After they swim each week, Grandma gives Maddie a quarter to buy a Popsicle treat, but a couple of weeks ago, Grandma looked in her bag and realized she had no money, no quarter, nothing. She explained to Maddie that this week, there would be no Popsicle. Maddie looked at the concession stand, and fervently exclaimed that THEY had quarters, and THEY had Popsicles over THERE!  And they just needed to go over there and g...

I have determined that any woman in the business world would benefit from some form of coaching.  In over twenty-six years of working with mostly women, I have found there are key reasons why seeking outside help is so beneficial.  Here are the main ones: 10.  Many businesswomen are addicted to being right. I am reading a book called "a little history of the world" by E.H. Gombrich. Now and then, you stumble into something great - and this is one of them. I have been looking for a history book that is easy to digest, educational and not trying to turn you into an academic professor. This book, in its kids friendly storytelling, is perfect. It covers the history of the world from the pre-historic age to the world war 2. It has a bend towards Europe, but it touches all the key milestones in the history. It is certainly a fantastic book to buy as a gift. Imagine the stories of the Macedonia with its Alexander the Great, The Egyptians, the Roman empire, the Germanic tribes and the Franks, the Ottoman empire, the knights, crusades and the ch...

My love affair with the sky started when I was born! I think I fell in love with it since I opened my eyes, because since I can remember, I always looked at the sky, the clouds, the light refracting through the clouds at different times of the day ... in different parts of the world ... I always liked flying too, my first flying experience was when I was 16 years old and flew to U.K. to go to Cambridge for a summer language course. I still remember my ecstasy when the plane started taxing on the runway and took off, I never felt something so exilarating before in my life! My love affair with planes was started. I also remember looking at a poster that my father gave me during my teens of a tornado fighter and dreaming of flyin...
