I See You...a Timeless and Powerful Message   In the movie, Avatar, released in 2009, the Navi greet each other with the words, "I see you" expressed in their native tongue. This simple phrase translates into a more profound message of mutual respect and regard for one another as if you are saying "I recognize the value in you."   This same timeless message has been shared many times throughout history with the promise of great power for any who might embrace it, and for good reason.   It is the message of equality, unconditional love, and human/civil rights. Having dinner last night with some friends, we found ourselves talking about some issues one of my friends is having with 'office politics.' It seems that one of his colleagues has complained to the manager that he does more work than my friend does. They are all part of the Human Resources "Team," and although they are called a team and are supposed to be united and working together, it really is more of a competition between them. They find themselves vying for attention from their manager, competing and complaining against one another to stand out from the crowd, and even undermining each other's efforts. When we think of a team, we think of a body of individuals working together as one unit. We can read many quotes about the value...

I have been looking at the world through my WE-colored glasses and noticing a whole different side to everything. My WE-colored glasses are a constant reminder to me that I am part of "WE" with others, within myself, with the planet, and with a Higher Power--all existing interdependently and harmoniously, living cooperatively and complimentary to each other. When I get angry at others for something they have done to me, my WE-colored glasses remind me that I am my biggest challenge, not others. When I notice another's mistake, they remind me that I make mistakes too. When I feel alone, they remind me that I am never really alone. When I feel hopeless, helpless, or just don't know what to do, they remind me to look to my Higher Power...
