What do you do when you discover one morning that you’re in a huge unknown? The reality dawns that at fifty four you own nothing, have no family of your own, your past business projects never succeeded, you’re bankrupt and the work you had recently embarked upon is not where your heart wants to be and has dropped you in to this ‘unknown’ unceremoniously? And to round it off there are no savings or financial resources of any kind… On top of that, you’ve just completed an eight month transformational training where you’ve learned that focusing on money and how to survive is keeping you entrenched in your identity/ego and not the way to live in your greatness…… I had two choices when I woke up to that on 9th January this year – I could ...

Finding out my numerology was a 2, 5, 7 through the fabulous book by Dan Millman I discovered my life path is to find freedom through discipline! Yuck, I thought, who wants discipline? I had enough of that as a tiny five year old in a convent school in Barnet where the nuns sent naughty children to stand in the corner (this was a very long time ago!). I was so terrified to be singled out I used to shiver with good behaviour. I now see how most of my life has been about resisting structures because I thought they imprisoned me – and when I did choose to be in a structure I was always proved right. Of course! (I didn’t know then that focus creates reality.) I gave up a place at University to hitch around Europe, deliver boats, and pl...

Attending the Doors to Perception Conference on Sunday one of the speakers explained how those who were following a spiritual discovery path were known as ‘the few’ and were able to be initiated in to the mysteries such as in ancient Egypt and Hawaii. The popular film The Secret tells us the same – our innate wisdom was kept to the initiated few, an exclusive sect who not only benefitted personally from this knowledge but could wield it for bigger and wider purposes. This magic, this extra sensory ability, this recognition we are far more than we think we are is discredited as idle fancy, imagination and just plain wishful thinking particularly by those who feel threatened by any inner power we, as individuals, may have. ...

I love the way Darren Eden says that following our intuition is like being a CIA Agent as it reveals information on a ‘need to know’ basis only. I found out first hand what that meant over the last few weeks and it has been a fascinating unfolding. Some of you may know that I found a new flat to rent in the centre of Twickenham by following the guidance of my intuition step by step and ended up renting a place I wouldn’t have been immediately drawn to. Since moving in I have found the ‘rightness’ of this choice. I am going through a major transition in my life where I’ve dismantled many of the old structures which supported me and I’m building new ones – which to be honest feel as slender and delicate as filigree at the moment, and yet...

I am awed by the power and accuracy of accessing my intuition the way I’ve learned through Darren Eden and thought I'd share my story of the cottage on Eel Pie island.A tiny bit of background: I attended an eight day residential course (The Renaissance) with Darren last February held in the magical setting of Buckland Hall nestled in the Brecon Beacons. I came away knowing one of the major goals I wanted to achieve in the following few months was to live in a warm, loving, inclusive home and community close to my sister. The Friday after I got home from Renaissance I found out the cottage next door to my sisters place on Eel Pie island was coming up for rent. How perfect - a perfect cottage in a perfect setting and community. I had...

Magic is a wonderful thing. For years I have been bamboozled by the mystic genius of thelikes of Houdini, David Copperfield, David Blaine, Derren Brown and Tommy Cooper. The escapism to our imagination is a most wonderful thing.  This weekend, through a most serendipitous chain of events, I landed myself in the garden of Darren Eden. The venue may have been a hotel room but all sorts were blossoming within those who attended.  Darren has nurtured a community of magicians, showing them how to tap into their intuition.  The simplicity of his message is the power of it – focus on what you love and take all obvious steps towards it.  When you spend time with magicians, synergistic wonder occurs. When you look for love from extern...

Do you recognise that feeling of wanting so much more in your life – that amazing moment of asking yourself ‘Is this all there is?’ You probably wouldn’t be on this site if you didn’t have that sense anyway. I remember getting this notion that there had to be ‘more’, many, many years ago, in fact I was under ten years old at the time. My father was a great story teller and I loved bedtime, when he sat on the edge of my bed and made up the best stories. They weren’t always nice as he was prone to weaving themes of loss in to them but I loved them nonetheless. It was a paradox that this man who was so good at creating stories was also the man who told me I had too much imagination, and tried to squash my desire for the hidden magical land ...

Darren Eden calls the free (yes, free) daylong introduction to his work – “The Awakening”. As I sat in the empty, expectant workshop hall at 8.30 anticipating the scheduled 9pm finish, I wondered how I’d stay awake, let alone be awakened. I needn’t have worried. 12 hours later, I was buzzing and recording interviews with other energised, enlightened and inspired attendees for traydio.com where you can check out the evidence for yourself on what 12 hours with Darren Eden can do. But before you do, let me tell you a little more… Reviewing a workshop is in some ways like reviewing a film. If I tell you what Darren does during the day, it’s like a film critic giving away the plot. I won’t do that. What I can tell you is that, if i...

Have you ever been terrified you were going to die? I have had ongoing anxiety attacks over a period of approximately 7 years where sometimes for nights on end I lie awake in my bed filled with a terror I’m about to have a heart attack. Some of you may have listened to my panic attack audio blogs which didn’t run for long as I had a trio of great healings culminating in a fantastic session with Patricia ten Berge and for 6 months or so they were gone. However, in the last couple of months they’ve started again and I have become far more aware of the process. The anxiety itself can be triggered by virtually nothing but I do have two symptoms which I find almost intolerable. One symptom is a type of arrhythmia which can last from ten min...
