Darren Eden calls the free (yes, free) daylong introduction to his work – “The Awakening”. As I sat in the empty, expectant workshop hall at 8.30 anticipating the scheduled 9pm finish, I wondered how I’d stay awake, let alone be awakened.

I needn’t have worried. 12 hours later, I was buzzing and recording interviews with other energised, enlightened and inspired attendees for traydio.com where you can check out the evidence for yourself on what 12 hours with Darren Eden can do. But before you do, let me tell you a little more…

Reviewing a workshop is in some ways like reviewing a film. If I tell you what Darren does during the day, it’s like a film critic giving away the plot. I won’t do that. What I can tell you is that, if it’s a connection with your intuition and your greatness that you want, and if you want more magic in your life, Darren’s your man, and this day is for you.

Regardless of existing beliefs, this day takes what could strangely be called a scientific approach to developing your intuition. Nothing is taken for granted, the concepts presented are tested in your own experience, and Darren is open to challenge. Even his key ideas aren’t sacred. Whilst this day exemplifies his 10-year polishing of timeless wisdom, he’ll gladly let go of any of it, if you can show him a better way.

Thanks to mentor and fellow Aussie William Whitecloud, author of The Magician's Way, Darren offers a unique training curriculum that can unite you with your intuitive capabilities and as he puts it: “turn down the volume of your rational mind”. This, as far as I’m concerned, isn’t just a blessed counter balance to the faculties we tend to use when making decisions and choosing how to live our lives; it’s a vitally necessary development if humankind wants to survive long-term.

It’s not that we’re not intuitive. It’s more that the volume of our rational mind is set to “11”; it’s all we hear and it’s drowning out our more spiritual, loving and empathic potential. I’d go as far as to say that the rational mind – in its current supremacy - is killing us and destroying the life-giving fabric of the planet we inhabit. Thank God for Darren!

Why free though? This is not only a question worth asking; it’s a perfect example of our assumption-based rationality. “Free”, to the pre-workshop, cynical me, conjured up submit-and-buy time-share presentations, or those ‘personality tests’ that were an up-sell opportunity to cult recruitment in the 80’s. And a free whole day, what is he thinking?

Post-workshop, and with my rationall volume down, and my intuitive volume up, I’m looking for the “ring of truth” and it tells me Darren is generous, deeply enthusiastic and serious about sharing this work. This day is the ground floor entrance to a tower of intuitive insight, personal development and an enlightened way of looking at and living life.

Basically, it’s a gift, not with strings as such, more like ribbons that, if you pull them, can give you endless gifts and surprises that are - as yet - wrapped within.

This sounds trally empowering and insightful. Is Darren based in the UK or does he come over to deliver workshops?

Are the workshops only held in the London area? Sorry Francesca, I should really just look at your website

Hi Lynne
Darren is based down the road from me in Devon and works all over the UK.
We're looking at doing one of the free days in Devon soon...

Hi Lynne

The next one in London is the 21st March - it should be on our in.spired.us site soon - possibly by early next week.

Hi Carl/Francesca

Thanks for letting me know. do let me know when the free days are. It's not that I only do freebies it's just that having to travel from 'up North' it usually proves quite expensive what with travel and accomodation costs.

I took some clients down to Glastonbury the other month as they had never been and it's not the easiest of places to get to (unless by car), which wasn't too bad as we shared the petrol costs and I drove there and back the same (long) day and that could be a way to do it but with a stop over, a bit of a mini break I suppose! It's been quite some time since I've been to Devon, I usually never make it past Somerset. I'll also have a look at rail fares to London to see if there are any offers on, as it's also been a little while since I paid a visit there. I suppose another option is to just wait to see where else he appears but I do like to explore!
